The 28th Annual Texas Handgun Association Training Conference is now on ZOOM, with the same core Friday-Saturday schedule (May 15-16, 2026).
The ZOOM format will allow a broader participation regardless of location or travel constraints. The cost of the conference is $50 per log on. Get a group together in your area. Host your own regional shoot on Friday morning and join us on ZOOM after. Let us know if you're hosting a shooting event and we will pass the word.
San Antonio is in Region 8. We are having a shooting even on Friday morning from 0800-1200. Don't look now, but details are to the right --> when you're done reading this column.
If you want to travel, come on. You may attend in-person with several other Association members at Prevent-Prepare-Protect Training and Consulting (P³TC) in San Antonio. Our host hotel is the ALOFT near the airport. Use the promotion (discount) code: P3TC
Full details, including Zoom links, access instructions, agenda, and any registration requirements for the virtual portions will be emailed to all registrants. If you are not receiving association emails, please update your contact information, contact us at [email protected].
While we regret not being able to gather everyone in person this year, this hybrid/virtual approach ensures we maintain momentum on critical training, governance, and community-building efforts.
Your continued support and involvement are more important than ever as we look ahead to a stronger 29th Annual Texas Handgun Association Training Conference May 20/21-23, 2027 at the YO Ranch Hotel and Conference Center in Kerrville.
Thank you for your dedication to the Texas Handgun Association and the Second Amendment values we uphold together. We look forward to "seeing" many of you on Zoom and to welcoming members to the live range event.
Stay vigilant, stay trained, and stay involved.
PS: We hope to see you at the NRA Annual Meetings in Houston, Texas, Booth 1037.
